are miniature chickens and have the advantage to fly. Due to there size it can be a disadvantage for foxes, hawks, cats and other small predators.

Bantam mommies are very protective and will attack anything that goes near there young.  I have several in my flock such as: Booted, Red Cap Cross, Old English Game & Blue Golden.
